Happy retirement to the owners! 🥲 My wife and I will truly miss this place — our go-to orders were always the sambal fried rice/bee hoon and hor fun. We’re so grateful we managed to eat here four times during your last week of operations, and even got to try dishes beyond our usual favourites. Every meal was comforting, flavourful, and clearly made with heart. Thank you for the amazing food all these years. Wishing you a well-deserved and joyful retirement! ❤️

Bustling Southeast Asian in South Bay, serving Malaysian and Burmese classics to a largely Asian dining clientele. Tea Leaf Salad gets all the flavor profiles right — unctuous, nutty, savory, but still citrusy and light. Excellent for to-go and delivery, as hot items are stored in a hot closet till pickup. A great option when ordering-in for a relaxed family dinner at home.

They moved to Newark from Warm Springs area about 2 years ago. Experience authentic Burmese cuisine and a variety of other Asian dishes at this restaurant. Enjoy huge portions, fair prices, and friendly service, making it an excellent choice for a satisfying meal.

Been here a couple times. All noodles and soups are stand out. Curries are good too, even the seafood ones and I typically don't love seafood curry. Seafood curry was luscious and sweet with a lot of shrimp. Noodles have good heat, soups and curries and rich and flavorful. Noodles have good bite and some dishes come with good lemon and chili sauces. Can be a bit salty but good management, fast service and food.

We wanted to try Malaysian to see if there is a distinct flavor. It seems like the choices tended to be either Indian or Thai inspired so we looked for food choices that we never had before. We tried Ohn Noh Kaut Swell Soup - seemed more like a thick chowder with noodles, a lot of texture, tasty. We tried Bak Kut Teh - pork and tofu in a tea leaf broth. Finally we tried Tofu Rendang. The flavors were familiar. We regretted not ordering anything fried because we mostly ordered saucy. The two different rice bowls, coconut and yellow, were a particular favorite as well as the roasted peanut. Probably try more noodle dishes for next visit. Service is nice.
